You can download the software as one complete file or as three disk images. Consider downloading the three images if you connect at a slow rate: if your connection is interupted, you can download just the missing images. These downloads are disk archives and do not require diskcopy. By merely double clicking on the installer it will automatically call to the parts it needs.

What's New in the GV PC Card 3.0.2 Software?
The 3.0.2 software allows you to use Global Village PC Cards on machines that support Card and Socket Services 3.0. At the time of this Read Me these are the PowerBook 2400 and 3400. The software also includes the latest firmware for your PC Cards.

Who Should Use This GV PC Card 3.0.2 Software Updater?

• Global Village PC Card 3.0.2 software works with the following modems: GV K56flex Modem/Ethernet PC Card, GV K56flex Modem PC Card, PowerPort Platinum PC Card, PowerPort Platinum Pro PC Card, or PowerPort Gold PC Card.

• Additionally, the Global Village PC Card 3.0.2 software can operate with the following PowerBook computers: the PowerBook190, 1400, or 5300 series computer. PowerBook 500 users need the PowerBook PCMCIA Expansion Module, revision C, Model M2995LL/C to work with this software.

What's New in the GV PC Card ROM Update 2 Firmware?
Firmware updates allow the modem to achieve better throughput and connection rates.

GV PC Card ROM Update 2 updates the firmware in these GV PC Cards:

• Global Village K56flex PC Cards -- The firmware is updated to version 1.002.
• PowerPort Platinum and Platinum Pro PC Cards -- The firmware is updated to version 1.511.

Who Should Use This ROM Updater?
Use this updater only if you have one of the following: PowerPort Platinum PC Card, PowerPort Platinum Pro PC Card, GV K56flex Modem/Ethernet PC Card, or GV K56flex Modem PC Card.
