1. Open the TelePort control panel.
2. Click the Select Port icon.
3. Select the port your modem is connected to and click OK.
4. Close the control panel.
5. From the Apple menu, open Global Village Fax Center.
6. Hold down the Option key, and click on the "o" in GlobalFax in the top left part of the window.

PC Card or Desktop modem users

1. Open ZTerm and select the port assigned to the modem.
2. Type the command ATI3 (or ati3) and press return.
