Requirements:
The USB TelePort Modem 1.0.2 Extension Updater is recommended for all owners of the TelePort USB 56K fax/modem running GlobalFax 2.6.7 or 2.6.8.

Software update:
The USB TelePort Modem 1.0.2 extension fixes slow throughput rates when using the PPP protocol option in Apple's Remote Access.

Installing the USB TelePort Modem 1.0.2 Extension Updater:
Be sure you have Quit all open applications. Disconnect your TelePort USB 56K fax/modem from your computer. Drag & drop the "USB TelePort Modem" extension into your Extensions folder or on top of your System Folder. The Macintosh will ask you if you want to replace the older "USB Teleport Modem" extension with the one you're moving. Click OK. Restart your Mac. Reconnect your USB modem to your computer.
