CREDIT CARDS
We accept the following major credit cards: Visa and MasterCard. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases with BOCA RESEARCH. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number [the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you.] Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon processing your order.
CREDIT CARD SAFETY
The Global Village Store uses the latest technology to protect your credit card information and does not release it to any outside organization. You can place your orders using Netscape'sÒ SSL encryption (the Internet standard for secure transactions) or you can fax your card information to us.
BOCA RESEARCH PRIVACY GUARANTEE
At Boca Research, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This means that we will not distribute, sell or rent your name or personal information about you to any third party without your permission. Boca Research may share non-personal, non-individual information in aggregate form with its marketing partners for research purposes. In other words, we will not tell our marketing partners that you purchased a specific product, but we may tell them how many customers purchased that product.
We may ask you if you are interested in receiving information about upcoming promotions from Boca Research. If you choose the "not interested" option, you will not receive any promotional e-mails from either Boca Research or any participating sponsors.
We must cooperate fully should a situation arise where we are required by law or legal process to provide information about a customer.

SHIPPING POLICY
Boca Research will ship your order within 24 hours of receiving your order unless the chosen product is out of stock and/or on back order. Should your product be out of stock we will notify you with an estimated ship date. Your credit card will not be charged until your product is shipped. You may cancel your order prior to its shipping by sending an email to: eservice@bocaresearch.com or calling (561) 997-9787.
BACKORDERS (out of stock items)
Backordered merchandise includes items that are not currently in stock.
Backordered products usually become available within 1 to 2 weeks but can occasionally take longer. If your order is not ready to ship within 30 days, we will send you an update via e-mail.
If for any reason we determine that a backordered item will no longer be available at all, we will notify you immediately by e-mail, cancel the item from your order and delete the item from our Store.
We may not always have an item in stock. We have included item availability on our product pages so that you will know if the item is available. BOCA RESEARCH will accept orders for out of stock items and ship them to you once they become available. If your order is not in stock it will be placed on backorder and shipped when the item is available via UPS ground. You may cancel a backorder at any time prior to shipping by contacting E-Commerce Customer Service at eservice@bocaresearch.com.
Note: as shipping often occurs within the following 24 hours, cancellations must be received accordingly. Call (561) 997-9787 if you think your order may have already been shipped to avoid penalty charges.
RETURN POLICY
Software products may be returned unopened within 30 days for a full refund of the price of the software. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Opened software is not eligible to be returned. If you would like to return your unopened software please contact our customer assistance dept by email or phone at eservice@bocaresearch.com for instructions.
ORDER ACCEPTANCE POLICY
Order Acceptance Policy: Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. BOCA RESEARCH reserves the right, at any time after receipt of your order and without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. In order to protect the interests of our customers, all orders placed over $2000.00 (U.S.) must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit and fraud department. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order.
REPLACEMENT POLICY
Boca Research is confident in the quality of our products. If you have received a defective product please contact our customer assistance department within 30 days by email or by phone at eservice@bocaresearch.com or (561) 997-9787 for instructions on how to have your defective product replaced.
MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
Manufacturer’s warranties vary on each product. Manufacturer information is subject to change without notice.
SERVICE AND SUPPORT
BOCA RESEARCH will provide on-line technical notes on most products as well as links to technical support. BOCA RESEARCH reserves the right to accept or decline any order for any reason.

TAX
BOCA RESEARCH shall withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within California and Florida. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state.
DISCLAIMER
Seller hereby expressly disclaims all warranties either expressed or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Title to goods herein being purchased is retained by the seller until goods are paid for by the purchaser and at that time title passes to purchaser, upon receipt of goods. If goods herein being purchased are being purchased for purposes of export, purchaser must obtain from the Federal Government certain export documentation before shipping to a foreign country. In addition, manufacturer warranties for exported goods may vary or even be null and void. If you have any questions, please inquire. Any and all liability is only for the products purchased.
We reserve the right to limit quantities purchased on specials and promotion products. Other restrictions may apply. We are not liable under legal theory for consequential or incidental damages arising from shipping delays, system downtime, loss of data, or for any loss, damage, or expense arising from product malfunction or defect. We expressly disclaim any warranty or guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose.
