How do I know my transaction is secure?

At BOCA RESEARCH you can be assured that your personal and account information is secure. We employ the latest 128-bit encryption technology in all parts of The Global Village Store, which require you to provide your personal or credit card information. We do this to protect you from unauthorized use of the information you are sending to our server.

The Global Village Store uses the latest technology to protect your credit card information and does not release it to any outside organization. You can place your orders using Netscape'sÒ SSL encryption (the Internet standard for secure transactions) or you can fax your card information to us.

At BOCA RESEARCH, we are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information is used to ensure efficient processing of your order. This information is used by our staff for contacting and identifying customers and their needs. Unsolicited, "spam" mail is not sent to BOCA RESEARCH customers. A periodic e-mail may be sent to our customers listing our current specials and new additions to the BOCA RESEARCH Website. At anytime, a customer may subscribe or unsubscribe from this list. BOCA RESEARCH does not accept responsibility for information and actions by third party individuals who have received information from the customer's directly.

Our Privacy Guarantee means that we will not distribute, sell or rent your name or personal information about you to any third party without your permission. BOCA RESEARCH may share non-personal, non-individual information in aggregate form with its marketing partners for research purposes. In other words, we will not tell our marketing partners that you purchased a specific product, but we may tell them how many customers purchased that product.

We may ask you if you are interested in receiving information about upcoming promotions from BOCA RESEARCH. If you choose the "not interested" option, you will not receive any promotional e-mails from either BOCA RESEARCH or any participating sponsors.

We must cooperate fully should a situation arise where we are required by law or legal process to provide information about a customer.

How To Place An Order?

Placing an order with BOCA RESEARCH is very easy and safe. Merely locate the item(s) you wish to purchase from our selection and follow these simple steps:

1. When the desired product is found, click on the "ADD" button associated with the item.
2. The contents of your shopping basket will be displayed. This information reveals the quantity, description, per unit cost, and total cost. If multiple quantities of the same item are desired, you may change the number of items from the default of one (1) to the appropriate number. Click on the "UPDATE QUANTITIES" button and the total cost for the items will be calculated and displayed appropriately. You may continue shopping by clicking on "Return to Shopping" button or you may go to checkout by clicking on "CHECKOUT" on the bottom of the basket page. Each time subsequent items are selected for purchase, by clicking on the associated "ADD" button, this shopping basket page will appear to reveal the total contents and price. Items may be removed from the shopping basket by setting the quantity to zero (0) and clicking on the "UPDATE QUANTITIES" button.
3. Click "CHECKOUT" to proceed with your purchase. Fill out the shipping and contact information, then click "Next". Select the type of shipping you would like (Next Day, Second Day, or Ground shipping) and click "NEXT".
4. Verify that the items and quantities are on your order. If not click "BACK" or "CANCEL". If everything is correct, click "NEXT".
5. Next fill out your payment and billing information and click "NEXT".
6. The next screen will allow you to confirm your order. If all of the information is correct, click on the "SUBMIT ORDER" button to place your order. Only press "SUBMIT ORDER" once. Pressing "SUBMIT ORDER" multiple times can result in your credit card being charged multiple times. Please be patient as it may take up to 60 seconds to verify your credit card information.
7. A final page will be displayed with an Order number and the total amount charged to your credit card. A confirmation e-mail will also be sent to the e-mail address you specified in your order. Please note: The Order ID number is necessary to track the status of your purchase. If you place your order by 1:00 p.m. Eastern time Mon - Fri, and the product is in stock, your order will be shipped out that day. BOCA RESEARCH does not ship products or make deliveries on Saturday or Sunday. Please allow approximately 2-4 weeks for back ordered items to be shipped.

BOCA RESEARCH is unable to process any credit cards with billing addresses outside the United States.
